Vivian Maier

The fifth artist I have chosen to take inspiration from is 'Vivian Maier.' I wanted to change my ideas again and look at documentary photography further but including the model again within my work. I will look at this artist's work and different edits that will inspire me to try within my work. In my previous photo-shoots, I believe they have worked successfully and I would like to continue with this style within my project at different locations and places that can show progress. I have chosen to look at 'Maier' as their style has intrigued me into changing my location of my work and thinking about how it helps tell a story within each image. I have previously only taking images at my Grandparents' home and I would like to think about different places I remember visiting in my childhood. I will choose a different location that is popular within the family and those we all still visit such as my Grandma's caravan in Ripon. Choosing a different location shows how my photography ideas have developed as I am thinking about the setting for my image more compared to my previous work. I will also look at different places I visited when I was a child and take more images relating to this. When I was younger, fishing and football were activities we did often as a family. Along with other games we played with our friends. All my ancestors have always had a strong passion for games and bonding with the family. We are a close family that share every memory and celebration together. In my future work I will look at choosing particular images that I believe have worked well and continue with overlay within photo-shop and using other tutorials that can show my skills and development within photography over the last two years.
