Exaggeration

Alexander Straulino
The next artist I have chosen to take inspiration from is Alexander Straulino. I have decided to look at this artist due to his unusual work that links in with my previous work and artist's that I have looked at. In my previous work I developed my ideas within using colour and different ways of capturing this within photography. I have also decided to look at ways of using the camera technically. Within this artists work, a high quality of detail is used within each image that enhances the models features and makeup that has been applied relating to this photographers work. Responding to this photographers work I will look at using the camera to capture beauty but developing my work of applying paints and other mediums to my models face and just using makeup to create a more natural, and well-presented photo-shoot. The last shoot I created was based upon natural makeup and just using basic clothing to show this. My previous two photo-shoots are similar to this artists basic work but adding colour within my work using coloured gels and edits that brighten my images and make them more effective. For my next shoot I will look at a technique called slow shutter speed that this artist has used within their work but also using overlay in Photoshop to achieve a different outcome. I will take inspiration from this artist and use colour within my work to show development from my ideas.
