Outcome Ideas
One potential idea:
As a final outcome I could create better developed images and photo-shoots that show the link between the artists I have researched. For my first outcome the artists I will be majority looking at will be Alex Box by Rankin and Damien Blottiere. I will be focusing onto linking these two photographers together taking inspiration from each using a high level of makeup and clothing that catches the audiences eye and attention. I will then develop my work by looking at work by Blottiere creating more of an art-like piece. I would like to experiment in his style creating different images that are different to my previous work using different techniques and tutorials using Photoshop and other craft materials that can overlay and cut out various pieces of each individual image that works well and effectively. Before I produce this outcome I will create various experimentations using images I have recently taken and using different angles and compositions that will compliment each other and show the ideas I am thinking of for my outcome. I have included a few of each artists work below to portray the style of work I will be working towards achieving. I will continue to use a high level of colour and contrasts and use bright vibrancy, which will compliment the other image choosing colours that work together but also link to the photo-shoot choosing them from the image picking out the ones that stand out the most. I will then chose shapes that work well with the image overlaying it behind the other to compliment each and allow the audience to see both images but at interesting angle. I will then present this in an unusual way such as a hanging or mobile from the ceiling, however these ideas may change when I develop my project.
Another potential idea:
For another outcome I will look at my artists work such as 'David Galystan' and develop their ideas using slow shutter speed within my work. I will also look at another artist 'Alexander Straulino' looking at his paintwork and the way he applies makeup and different mediums within his portraiture images. I will then develop my ideas and create some work based on these artists' looking at different angles and ways of using including colour in my photos. For my photo-shoots relating to these artists and my potential outcome I will create a couple of shoots using powder paints and ways I can contribute paint in my work getting my model to throw it in the air and show development within my project and how my ideas have improved and changed, taking inspiration from different photographers. I will also experiment with slow shutter and different ways of using the camera technically to capture a different feel within my work. I have chosen to look at slow shutter and use colour at a higher level including it within my models clothing instead of their makeup that I have applied. For my final piece I will look at framing some selected images that look effective and work within my theme. I will paint/design the frames adding paint and other mediums for my frames to link within my style and theme that I have chosen to focus on.
